A very interesting game takes place this morning at the Staples Center in Los Angeles where 2 of the young and dynamic teams, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers.
Confrontation is a very interesting one because of the debut between Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid on the one hand and Lonzo Ball on the other.
The Los Angeles Lakers have an exciting season, won 6 of the 14 games played and occupy a respectable 11th place in the Western Conference. I say respectable because the team of the Angels City is in full reconstruction, focusing on the development of young hopes, Lonzo Ball, Kuzma and Brandon Ingram. Along with them in the first 5 finds the place Caldwell-Pope and Brooklyn Nets’ former pivot of the experienced Brook Lopez. The Los Angeles team does not have a superstar to impose dominance on the game, with most of the base players averaging around 15 points per match, with Brook Lopez holding a maximum of 16.4.
On the other side of the Philadelphia 76ers, it is a good season season with 7 wins in 13 matches and 7th in the Eastern Conference. Rookie Markelle Fultz, who was selected with the first option in last year’s draft, can not throw in the basket and had to change the shape of the throw after an injury this summer. A combination of what seems to be a physical and mental problem has brought Fultz out of rotation momentarily and he will be missing this night.
The talented Philadelphia team has won 6 of the last 8 matches, including a fixed-distance move this arena 2 nights ago, to the other Los Angeles team, LA Clippers. The debtors Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons seem to be in a rhythm and the 76ers show more and more the talented team with the hope of play off that must be.
I’m expecting a very dynamic match in which the young people on the field will do their best to show their value and will score many points in this match.
