The round opens early this evening at the Staples Center with the game between Clippers and Warriors.
Kevin Durant suffered an injury in Texas a few days ago in the match with Mavs, but he stayed on the parquet for 38 minutes. Then he rested with Rockets in a “back-to-back” and is uncertain today. Without him, Steph Curry took over the team’s “hooves” and alongside Green they played against the Rockets. As Durant has replaced Curry’s absence in the past two weeks, it’s time for the latter to make up his mind.
Clippers recovered Blake Griffin, but they still have a lot of work to become a playoff contender this year in the West. The band in Los Angeles is still in a rebound form, winning 6 of the last eight games of the season. Clippers is on the 9th place in the conference at this time, but they are still unavailable as Galinari or Beverly. To them, Austin Rivers is missing in the next 2 weeks and possibly Milos Teodosic, which is uncertain today.
Under these conditions, I give credit to the guests, led by a Curry who was just waiting to return to the field.
