Wigan – Manchester City (Preview, Prediction, Tips) 19.02.2018

It was an excellent season so far for both Wigan Athletic and Manchester City. The hosts are in a good position to return to the Championship and in the Cup their performances have been far above expectations, going through much better opponents, such as Bournemouth or West Ham. On the other hand, citizens are engaged in all competitions and the Premier League title is almost adjudicated 4 months before the end of the season.
However, after losing the last two legs of League One, against Southend United and Blackpool, Wigan will not start this game in the best form and best morale. Manchester City is too good and I can only wait for a definite victory on their part Monday night. Wigan’s defensive has had big problems over the last two weeks against League One opponents, and this makes me think a victory of at least 2-3 goals scored is a very reasonable betting option.
