State of form

Great absentee of the last world in Russia, Italy is in full reconstruction since and has just lined up 5 friendly matches since its failure in the play-offs against Sweden. Always looking for stability, the formation managed by Roberto Mancini chained two games without success in early June, against France (3-1 defeat) and against the Netherlands (1-1).
Unrecognizable at the 2018 World Cup, Poland took the door in the group stage. Indeed, the teammates of Robert Lewandowski started the competition by 2 deadly defeats against Senegal (1-2) and Colombia (0-3). Already eliminated, the Poles have however signed a positive tournament exit, with a success against Japan during the third day (1-0).
